Tai Chi

This is a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner with deep breathing. Wear loose clothing and bring water. Suggested $5 donation. Open to all.

Summer Hours: An additional Tai Chi class is held on Fridays, at 9 a.m., in the Driggs City Park


Drumming Exercise

Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

Wear loose clothing, bring water. Free. Open to all.

This fun cardio routine set to music involves movement and beating an exercise ball with drumsticks. Also helps cognitive function through concentration and coordination.

Fit and Fall Proof

This is an exercise program that focuses on improving strength, mobility and balance to reduce an older adult’s risk of falling. Local volunteer leaders are trained to teach the class. Wear loose fitting clothing and bring water with you. Free. Open to all.

Session I: 9 – 9:45 a.m. Monday and Thursday

Session II: 10 – 10:45 a.m. Monday and Thursday

Yoga for a Better Life

Yoga for a Better Life. Tuesdays 9 a.m. 

Wear loose clothing and bring water. Yoga mats and gear are provided, or bring your own. Suggested $5 donation. Open to all. 

No matter what physical activities you enjoy, they need to be complemented with a movement routine of lengthening, stretching and breathing.  Enjoy the benefits of yoga by  joining Connie, an E-200-RYT certified yoga instructor, in a gentle Hatha-based yoga practice. This practice is designed to help seniors increase flexibility while building strength and using breath efficiently. 

Possible side effects of regular attendance include:

  • Increased flexibility, strength & balance
  • Increased self-confidence, mental focus & energy
  • Decreased stiffness, pain & fatigue
  • Decreased fear of falling, anxiety, & self-doubt
