Gentle Chair Yoga
Gentle Chair Yoga is on hiatus for July and August. It will return in September.
Anyone with back, knee, hip, shoulder issues or any physical limitation can benefit from a Gentle Chair Yoga practice. This one-hour class taught by Connie will help you move every joint and muscle to promote flexibility, energy and healing in your body, while improving posture and releasing tension. Yoga in a chair has such a profound impact on mental health that it would be a huge mistake to view it as a purely physical practice. One may be surprised by this activity’s positive impact on the social side of things as well. Chair yoga classes offer a great opportunity for the socialization necessary for high levels of self-esteem and happiness.

Senior Homemaker and Respite Care
Seniors West of the Tetons serves an aging population in Teton Valley and works to ensure that seniors are engaged, supported and thriving.
Among our many services, SWOT is developing a program to offer more services to seniors in their homes to help them lead safe, healthy and independent lives.
Senior Homemaker Services and Respite Care will provide eligible seniors with home services such as light housework, cleaning, and cooking and provide their caregivers a break through respite care.
Here’s where you come in…
Driggs Mayor Hyrum Johnson has awarded a challenge grant to Seniors West of the Tetons. The City will match dollar-for-dollar the funds we raise to a maximum of $2500. The deadline for raising our share of the match is Feb. 15, 2022.
The funds are available as part of a grant to the City of Driggs from Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation to promote community health. The funds reflect the mayor’s dedication to programs that lead to positive health initiatives.Â
Send donations designated to the match to SWOT at P.O. Box 871, Driggs, ID 83422, or donate online below.
